Answers to Math Probelms

Introduction to math Problems:

The math is divided into the following main concepts they are

Algebra
Geometry
Probability

The basicfour mathematical opeartions are mainly used in mathematics. They are

Add
Sub
Multiply
Divide
In this topic we have to discuss about example problems for each topic in math.

Example Problem in Algebra

The nine times of the number is subtracted from 63 and the resultant value is equal to 117. Find the answer for that unknown number.

Answer:

Let us assume that unknown number is the variable u. then nine times of the number is equal to 9u. And it is subtracted from 63 therefore 63 – 9u. Then this value is equivalent to 63 – 9u =117

The given algebraic expression can be written as

63 – 9u =117

Subtracting the value 9u on both sides we can get,

63 – 9u + 9u= 117 + 9u

That is 63 = 117 + 9u

Subtracting the value 117 on both sides we can get,

Then, 63-117 = 117 + 9u -117

That is -54 = 9u

Dividing the value 9 on both sides we can get,

-6 =u

This is the answer for u.

This is basic example of algebra problem.

Example Problem in Geometry

The angles in the quadrilateral shape are x, 2x, x, 2x find the measurement of the angles.

Answer:

The property says that the sum of the four angles in the quadrilateral is equal to the measurement of 360 degree.

Therefore we can written as,

X + 2x + x + 2x = 360 degree

That is 6x =360 degree

Dividing 6 on both sides we can get,

X= 60 degree

Therefore 2x = 120 degree

Then the angles of the quadrilaterals are 600, 1200 and 600, 1200

This is basic example of geometry problem. I have recently faced lot of problem while learning Non Isosceles Trapezoid, But thank to online resources of math which helped me to learn myself easily on net.

Example Problem in Probability

A coin is tossed at one time. Calculate the probability that the side of coin be head.

Answer:

Total probability of tossing a coin at a time = {H, T}

Therefore number of sample space =2

Find the probability of head = {H}

Therefore number of times event occurred =1

Therefore the probability = `(1)/(2)`

These are the basic math problems.
